In today's update, we have added a feature that will help keep you reminded about your booked mentor sessions: Text Message Alerts!

Setting up Text Alerts

A new section has been added to the Book a Mentor page: the Booking Reminder Settings section.

Clicking on this section will bring you to this page:

In this page, you may enter your mobile phone number you wish to receive text message alerts for your upcoming mentor sessions. Once you click the Verify button, a six digit verification code will be sent to the number you have provided in the input:

If for some reason you never received your verification code, you may attempt resending one in 30 seconds to either the same number or a different number if you entered the wrong number by accident.

Text Alert Settings

After your phone number is successfully linked, you will have two options. You may choose to toggle text alerts on or off as you like, or if you wish to unlink your phone number entirely you can do so simply by clicking the Unlink button found in the resulting page:

Once your phone number is set up and verified, you will receive text alerts 1 hour before each of your accepted mentor bookings are set to start.

Please note: that when you choose to receive text alerts from OYOclass, any standard messaging rates may apply, and to check with your mobile plan for details. You may cancel text alerts at any time through this settings page by either turning off the message switch or completely unlinking your phone number from your account.
