An update for the Hatch! app was just released that updates the aliases displayed in the Hatch! app 'Explore' page, making them consistent with the names listed inside the school community. This is a feature update request made by schools, in order to ensure accountability by students, and aid in sharing value of project work within school communities.
Places That Have Been Affected:
The Explore page:

The Individual Student Project List Page:

Previously on each student's project, it would display their global alias which was able to be set to whatever the student wanted as long as it wasn't their school alias. With this new update however, within school communities their display name in the app will be locked to what their alias is inside their school community, as well as list which school community this information is being pulled from. This view will be consistent for all accounts within a school district's organization group, made of each community that is part of the school district.
Please note: To protect student data, this school alias will only be viewable by members within that school district org group of communities. Anyone that is not a member of any of the communities inside of the school district will not be able to see these names, but will continue to see the students' global aliases instead.
