Community managers now can lock challenges and learning paths, such that only members with an access code can see the content. A "locked challenge" is being deployed as a means of structuring challenges as testing assessments. When included in a learning path, students will be able to navigate the entirety of the learning path, all courses and challenges, and when ready will be able to access a locked challenge as their mid-term or final assessment.

For example, as the community manager, you can go to the challenge list's admin page and find these 2 extra options for each challenge:

Use "Lock Challenge" to lock a challenge, and use "Manage Access Code" to generate an access code for this challenge which you can deliver to students later.

Once a challenge is locked, when students try to visit this challenge, they will see a page like this:

In the learning path list's admin view, you may find a similar option for each learning path:

Please notice, once a challenge or a learning path is locked, students will not be able to access it without the access code.  Use of these locked features should be limited to specific and appropriate cases, such that access to general/open challenges or learning paths are not affected.

Additionally, within the 'Challenges' admin view, there is also a new means of sorting challenges:

When you click on the 'All Challenges' dropdown, you will be able to sort challenges by "locked" type to view only those challenges that are defined as locked challenges. This same functionality will be available within the 'Learning Paths' admin view also.
